Booking, Appointments and Cancellations
In order to make sure those who would like an appointment can get one it has become necessary to ask for a non-refundable or transferable booking fee for all appointments. This will be taken off the cost of your appointment or can be used to secure your appointment if you would like one, it can be paid by BACS, Paym, cash or credit card (salon only) and must be received within 48 hours or the appointment may be given to someone else. If you choose to cancel the appointment the booking fee is forfeit. The minimum booking fee for one service is £10, if more than one service, or a longer service is required, the booking fee will increase.
All December appointments have a minimum booking fee of £20
48 hours notice is required to change the day of appointments to allow time to fill that space. If less than 48 hours notice is given, for any reason including illness, the booking fee will be forfeit and a new booking fee will be required.
48 hours notice is required to change/reduce/increase the service (i.e. appointment is booked for soak off and full set of acrylics but service required is changed to infills). If less than 48 hours notice is given the longer service charge will still apply.
If you do not attend or you forget about your appointment your booking fee will be forfeit and full payment up front will be required for any future appointments. Not attending another appointment may result in no further appointments being offered.
Please arrive on time for your appointment, try not to arrive too early as I may not always be able to offer somewhere to wait. Arriving more than 10 minutes late to your appointment may result in a reduced service or no service being offered so as not to impact on other clients’ time that day. If this is not agreeable your booking fee is forfeit. A new booking fee will be required.
Nail Angel does not offer refunds on any nail services provided.
Please do not bring children to your appointment, the salon is not a safe place for them and your undivided attention is required during your service to ensure I do not run behind for my next client.
Please do not place any personal items on the nail desk, Nail Angel is not responsible for any damage that may occur.
This ensures I can continue to provide all clients with good service and guarantee the longevity of my business, thank you for your understanding.
I care for your natural nail when applying, maintaining or removing gel polish or acrylic enhancements. I do not rush, applying nails that will last takes time. I will always advise applying nails that are suitable for your lifestyle. The following after care is important to ensure your nails last well until your next appointment.
Looking after Gel Polish & Acrylic Nails
• Using cuticle oil daily is an essential part of wearing acrylic nails. Cuticle oil will help condition your cuticles and skin as well as keep the acrylic flexible, less likely to break and help them last longer.
• Keep your infill/redo appointment, this should be every 2-3 weeks depending how quickly your nails grow. Going longer could cause damage to your natural nail.
• It may be a good idea to book the same day and time.
• Avoid any biting or picking of gel or acrylic, this will cause damage to your natural nail.
• Avoid using glues to fix any problems, come into the salon with any breakages or repairs.
• Wear protective gloves when using detergents/solvents, when doing household chores or gardening.
• Your new nails are strong but remember they are not tools, using them as such can lead to chipping, damage or loss of your acrylic or gel. Look after your nails.
• If you no longer wish to wear your gel polish or acrylics please return to the salon to have them removed correctly. Picking, biting or peeling them off will cause thinning and damage to your natural nails.
After Removal
• After the removal of acrylic your nails will need rehydrating, a manicure will help to restore moisture to your nails, skin and cuticles.
• Continue to use your cuticle oil daily
• Maintain regular manicure appointments
• Keep your natural nails at a reasonable length to avoid breakages
